Sleepover

3 weeks ago or so Ellena texted me telling me she was planning for a sleepover. In a blink of an eye, the 3 weeks exams were over. The chill out session.

Met up at Tebrau City for movie and lunch and a little shopping.

Auntie Kim buying groceries

Watched 'Where Got Ghost' as 'The Ugly Truth' was for above 18. Thought the movie was really lame initially but laughed and screamed throughout the movie. Went to Daiman for bowling after that.

i won!

Went up to the arcade while waiting for Janice.

Daytona was good. For the first time I didn't get last place and got 1st when I played with Yubei and Ellena. I think the driving classes did some good. :D

Chuck Bass craze

Shrieked like the heineken ad when we saw her walk in wardrobe

Ellena's room that held 11 girls

Janice in Ellena's parent's jacuzzi tub

taking acting lala pics with a retro camera of ellena's

THIS IS SO SALAH

gossip girls!

reading maindish's autograph

first one to fall asleep and ...

Before confrontation

And after

Gossiped the whole night. Slept at 6.30 in the morning. 5 of us shared the bed, with Vanessa laughing and shrieking and vibrating next to me, with Wen Li constantly rolling over us and Kim who goes 'Ah Ong ar.. wa ai wa gai ang sek eh lai sa' You tell me how could all of us possibly sleep under such conditions?

Woke up at 10.30 in the morning, massive hangover feeling shag. Balik rumah tidur until maximum.

Oh, and I attempted to drive the car to scare my brother. Heh. :D

Till another sleepover after SPM.

CIC

I just realised I haven't blogged about CIC's 22nd Installation Day. On the 13th of August, the new BOD was officially installed along with the F3 interactors. We got ourselves uninstalled from the BOD and the club. ):

Life in Interact brings back tons of memories. Panicking and hyperventilating during the interview, being interrogated by 9 people. I did the stupidest impromptu dance of my life there. Hahahahahhahaha. Was really glad to see my name on the list of people who got through.

I learned how to do things properly, tried before saying I couldn't and having a sense of responsibility. Interact certainly moulded me into a better person. :)
Being in the BOD, I learned how to work with 9 other people,

doing things on time, how to talk in front of 50 other people, and put up with the nonsense of the 8 other BOD.

Being a low confidence girl, I learnt how to speak up, dancing and acting in front of the crowd. I also get a lot of exposure, learning how to host and conduct an event, making decisions, solving problems, getting to meet people from all over, and increasing my social network.

Interact is one of the prestigious clubs in the school compared to clubs like Kulintang. As the president of Kulintang, I only get to see through the new members' application and stuff. But being the Hon. Secretary in Interact, I do tons of stuff for the club.

I love Interact a lot and I've put up a lot of sacrifices just for the club. From making a trip down to SG to the embassy, skipping movies just to attend meetings with Rotarians, and getting scoldings because of staying back for duties. Running around skipping class, getting permission from the headmistress isn't a menial task. She is one busy woman and I have to practically stand outside her room and compete with teachers to see who gets to go in first. Of course being a student when the teacher looks at me, I have to give in to her.

I'm really grateful I got a chance to be in this club and being part of the BOD. Without Interact, my life in school would have been really different.

3.

Thank you for always being there for me whenever I needed you. Sharing my ups and downs, listening to my rants with no complains, giving me advice. These 3 years have been fun. Time flies really fast. It was then you first turned me down. Heh. No doubt you still have the other two but I think I gave in more than they did.

You play the role of a friend, someone I can count on and like another family member.
You're a composed person yet can burst into uncontrollable laughter any time that puts a smile on anyone's face.

You're one person I never quarreled with before. Maybe its due to the fact that you are so understanding or we give in too much to each other. Though we don't have talks on the phone like the others, but we're the ones who held on till so long and it will always.

Happy 3 years mei and ILY. :)

Kawan.

Trials in a week, taking a nap at 12am everyday with 2 minutes snooze ends up in waking at 9am. Twitter craze everyday. Tweet even when you shit, tweet even when you find someone with someone new.

A lot has happened recently and I realised that you're nothing when you don't even have proper friends. You may have a graze or choke on a biscuit or something and you have your hordes of friends concerning over you but some may fall into a drain and get bruises everywhere but only your hi-bye friends express concern for you out of politeness.

Being super smart doesn't necessarily bring you a lot of friends. Okay maybe you have but what do they do with you? Talk about studies? Your circle of friends would be only limited to your classmates. They would be busy studying everyday and you never have friends who,

goes on picnics with you..

or go for fish spa..

or doing........

I'm not referring as a whole, only an individual.

So what if you have the monetary means? Does it make you happy by having more than what others have and showing it off? Do you even have someone you can turn to when you have problems? Sure, you have your parents, but can they replace the role of a confiding friend? Sometimes I look at you, I don't know whether I sympathise with you or what.

I'm extremely glad I'm not in your situation as I have my friends I can turn to and I don't know what I'd do without them.

Lulus Lulus Lulus!

Super mad hyperventilated even more a day before the test. Had practice one day before the test. Came back home, still worried shit and decided to skip tuition. Nobody was at home, laid on the couch and tearing by myself. Couldn't handle the pressure, afraid of failure once again.

Mum came home, revised by talking to me how to reverse and all. Received a super awesome text that cheered me up. Hui Ling took picture of the two Domos, Laureate and Waga waga with braces on wishing me good luck for the test. Thank you Hui Ling!

Was all jittery in class. The mere thought of the test made me wanna pee. Made frequent visits to the toilet. Dad picked me up, had no appetite, picked at the food and decided to skip it. Reached the place, forgot I had to go to the counter to get my form till I saw people holding it.

Went to the toilet. AGAIN. Was told to register when I came out. My lucky number was 83. Found out I was the first one to take the test. Sat there under the tree near the hill while staring at the hill, parking spot and 3 point turn. Few girls came along, said they failed bukit the other time too. An indian girl failed twice. She passed her bukit and all that but she banged a car at the jalan part so she had to take everything again.

Said my prayers, introduced myself to the car I was going to use, popped a raisin into my mouth courtesy of Yee Chen who said that raisins could calm nerves. Thanks babe! Whole leg was practically shaking and had to hold it down.

Felt quite confident the minute I finished parking and was about to head for the 3 point turn. Did pretty well and fast. Got the slip and saw the tick on the 'Lulus' box. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D super happy. Did everything in 3 minutes when the maximum was 11 minutes.

Called home to get transportation back. Pranked my sister that I failed. Mum called back, sounded disappointed. Told her the truth and she screamed to everyone at home I passed.

It feels oh so good to overcome an obstacle in life after you've failed once. Dad's teaching me to drive Mum's car this weekend. :) Soon to fetch the whole Convent to CS. Hah.

Kandas.

Hyperventilated for the whole day in school. Amused Yee Chen by practising in class, changing gears, lifting clutch and accelerating.

Went off at 1pm, explained things to Pn. Punitha. She let me off, though by now I wish she didn't. Went for lunch at Hutan Bandar and made my way to Berjaya.

Saw Daphne upon reaching. Waited there while trembling, saw the JPJ officers in their tight uniforms with their straight faces, the adrenaline rush was increased. Was really blur about where to go then I finally made my way to the car.

Went up the hill, stopped, lifted up my hand. Instead of moving forward, the car moved backwards. Was told to get off the car, realising I failed. Sat down and teared. Went for the next part, driving on the road.

Got a pretty nice officer, talked to me throughout the whole journey, asking why I wasn't a prefect and said that he'd choose me if he were a teacher, giving me advice in life, asking why I looked different from the picture in my L license. Before reaching, he said that he'd pass me so I wouldn't feel so bad about failing the first part.

Said I drove pretty well and gave me a 17/20. Went home, bathed and cried myself to sleep. Told dad I didn't want to go for tuition, I guess he understood how I felt then. Awakened by my mum, questioning me why didn't I pass. Back then she failed because of the same thing too. Made me teared and felt that I was worse than all the ah bengs and lians.

Why is it everytime I have to go through failure?

First part test: Bukit, parking, 3 point turn next Wednesday. I really need all the luck in the world this time.

Update

UF 2 just ended. Been going for driving classes for Monday's driving test.
Man, I need all the luck in the world, pray that I don't get nervous and don't let the engine go dead. And not letting the car move backwards on a hilly slope.

Pesta Permainan next, open day next week. Hope I don't fail any subject this time round.

Meeting the angmoh tomorrow who was sick last week. Made me couldn't go for Gerak Gempur and got a thrashing from the teachers with the other girls. I had a valid reason for not going for Gerak Gempur okay.

Trials in a month, pulling up my socks, engaging in 4th gear now.

Till then.

Picnic!

Wenli's idea by the way. Planned it 2 or 3 weeks ago, decided to wait for JOEY to come back to have it.

Went for Add Math tuition at 8am hence the late arrival of Florence and I.

At 10am, the place was really quiet and remote. Didn't hear any of the girls' laughter (Convent girls are famous for laughing really loud) and so we walked until we saw the rest of them under the tree.

Vanessa brought cream puffs, Wenli - orange juice instead of burnt popcorn, Joey - TGIF chicken, Flo - Pink jellies, Kim - Dim Sum, Yee Chen - Sandwiches, Adeline - Pie and I brought Vitagen, sausages and Chipster.

Mum and bro flying spongebob in the air

Head a great time there with my bladder bursting any minute. Headed to Roost's for drinks and to Cs.

Roamed around then went for piano class. New teacher. Looks dorky. No idea why my parents still want me to have lessons after I passed my grade 8.

Driving lessons today and my instructor suddenly said I have pre-test today. Secara spontan, went for the test. I passed! I think.

82/100.

Still need more lessons. Masih lemah. :(

65km/h

Hah.

I drove all the way from my place to Perling.

Pretty nervous at first with all the cars trying to overtake you just because you're a Lembu.

Was at the traffic light and the first. When the light turned green, the car at the back gave a little toot on his horn and I panicked, ended up engine went dead and got told off by my instructor. :(

He told me to drive back so I speeded, not wanting anyone to overtake me. 65 km/h hah! Still slow I know.

Watched Yonex Sunrise tournament yesterday. Met Maykah there :)

Pictures soon. After days of quarantine, back to school tomorrow :(

Sticks and balls the finale.

Driving lessons before that. Sweated for the one an a half hour. Instructor turned off the air con. Don't know was it the cause of me almost crashing into a bird, a motorcyclist and beating the red lights.

Teruk I know. Panic la.

Made our way to the hockey stadium, only to find there were no more parking, had to park near the shops and walked there. I ran there. :D
No more seats left, had to make do with the platform. First half of the game ended. Germany VS Netherlands. Fought with Egypt players for seats. XD

Had a good view, surrounded by A.M's, but an old one next to me :(

When the Germans won..

Kesian Netherlands

Received towel, leg guard, wristguards personally from the players. Gave away the towel and leg guard. Sis got the jersey though.
