MRI

Made a trip down to Johor Specialist after realising the bump was still there after 2 months. I still love the disinfectant smell at the entrance of the hospital. :D
The last time I was there was when I had my tonsils removed.

Headed over to Dr. Tan Kok Keong's clinic, Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery. Told him about my condition and he was startled. Then I had to show him my butt in front of my dad, but luckily I faced my dad when the doctor checked. And yeah he examined the sore, with his icy cold fingers. :X

2 possibilities. Either benign or maglinant. My heart skipped a beat. I didn't expect it to be that worse. He suspected that the sore had nothing to do with my fall and asked me whether it appeared before the fall. He couldn't be sure of anything and so I had to go for the MRI scan. He explained about the machine like a magnet, attracting all my water molecules with the attraction force as strong as the Earth's and I couldn't move when I was in the capsule as the picture might turn out blur.

Headed down to the X-ray lab and not long after I was called. Somehow I wasn't so worried and I had to change into a robe and the nurse stuck something onto the sore. As I laid on the thing, it started moving in and it somehow reminded me of a coffin being rolled into the furnace. Choi.

For 20 minutes or so without moving, I started to think a lot. What if it was cancerous? What would I do? I had tears in my eyes and I diverted to thinking who to sell my tickets to and reminding myself there's peka and lisan tomorrow.

Then I was asked to turn around, positioning myself butt facing the air, lying on my chest. After a while I fell asleep. I became concious when the nurse came back to me. Scan ended and headed back to where my dad was waiting. Kesian. 40 minutes sitting there. Brought the results back to the doctor.I was the last patient there.

There was bad news and good news. Good news was it wasn't dangerous. Bad news however I have a blood clot between my epidermis and dermis. The blood clot had already dissolved but it's somehow stuck there. 2 ways to remove it. One is to suck it out through a needle. The other one is to wear a girdle to exert pressure on it. The doctor opted for the second one.

My dad doubt it works so I have to constantly rub off the sore. Now Kim and I have to both wear that thing except that hers was because of her back. Bill came to RM 920. RM 840 was for sleeping for 40 minutes. RM 80 was consultation fees.

So much for a fall. Feel guilty now.
