Resolutions of 2009

A lot has happened in 2008. My first add math exam which I failed, my two science subjects which I failed. Never considered myself as a failure until the results were out. But I managed to pass all of them on my finals.

Scandals. True, not true, up to each individual to decipher. Anyways, I had fun this year with new good friends eg. Joey, Florence. X) They certainly knew when to comfort me and teased me till I have no idea to bury my head kind of thing. Not forgetting Kim, Wenli and all.

Looking back at my previous posts last year, I thought I changed a lot in the way of blogging. It seems rather childish of me back at that time. Or maybe I grew to be more sensible over the year.

The first two resolutions are a must and that means I have to put in more effort already. Sigh.

And so, my new year's resolutions:
1. To pass my grade 8 practical.
2. Achieve straight A's in SPM
3. Stop being too nice to people.
4. Grow taller!
5. To think more maturely and be careful when it comes to making decisions.
6. To not let my feelings overcome my thinkings.

That's about it. Pretty different from last year's. Probably counting down in front of the computer, wishing myself happy new year. No party, no bowling. =(

I'll be celebrating with Accounts tuition tomorrow. =(

2009 will be better. Happy new year!

Xmas 08

Christmas this year was pretty boring to me compared to last year where we threw a party and presents galore! But this year, my maid went back so there was no one to do the washing and cleaning. Parents decided it was too much of a hassle.

The night before, we watched tv and did not do much of a countdown. I didn't even wish them merry xmas. Didn't even receive any christmas texts until I decided to forward some to people around me. Only did I receive pretty boring replies.

pathetic number of presents.

I felt christmas this year wasn't really special, just like any ordinary day. Apart from the presents, I received some christmas money which i spent on cny clothes. =.=

Went for dinner at the new hotel near omega, Grand Paragon. The interior of the hotel was fine. Cafe packed with people on Xmas day. Felt no christmas ambience there except for a santa that went around to everyone's table for them to take pictures with. We turned down his offer.

That summarizes my whole xmas celebration. School starts in a week. Looking forward to it but not ready for it yet.

Off to Bukit Indah Jusco.

Misuderstanding.

Certain gifts and midnight talking about work could lead to misunderstandings. So it landed a boy in trouble because of this. Said his mom, 'No girlfriend for you till you go to college!'

He did listen to his mum and he had a girlfriend.

For he was in English COLLEGE.

Quarrel some more.

Fulfil or fulfill?

That's the question.

An hour to Christmas

Admist the fact that my sis just posted on my facebook status, 'Chrismine: All I want for christmas is a boyfriend!' while I was away from the computer, the second worst thing is my lost handphone.

I tried to be good this Christmas but no sign of a handphone. =(
But some people tried to fufill one of my christmas wishlist but tak jadi. Thanks anyway for the effort, the 4 people, you know who you are. I know you'll see this so thank you. Its the thought that counts.

45 minutes to Christmas and I'm half drunk on beer+7up. Thanks to my dad's brilliant idea of concocting shandy using this method. High on 'Just Dance' by Lady Gaga shaking my hands in the air already. Ahahahahhaha.

I have a couple of presents under the xmas tree unopened yet and Sis who still owes me a xmas present.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Christmas party show

Went for community service at Danga City Mall on Sunday. It was a Christmas party show for the orphans mainly from Berkat home and other homes I can't remember. Had a blast there dancing along and singing with the orphans, tending to their needs, helping them with the games. =)

It started off with speeches and then Kick Boxing by a guy from the gym. The kids started doing the exercise followed by the Chicken Dance! Super cute dance. The rotarians and adults joined in too. Including me.

One of the orphans. Cute seh

Its Christmas Eve. Stuck at home while Wenli and company goes off to Tebrau City and some cafe.

And the person who thinks blogging is a waste of time finally created a blog for himself. =.=

Merry Christmas everyone.

Clear the air.

Ok I apologize for being a bitch or whatever. I merely just said the shops there don't really interest me and hope to see shops like Roxy to be opened there.

Some people just have no sense of interpretation.

And I did not shoot Kim and why the hell I got shot back. Suddenly, all the 'You don't shoot me I don't shoot you, you shut up I shut up, protect your friends' policies came up when I just merely mention my hoping of the shops to be opened.

Off to community service.

Amusing.

If you ever come around to my place for lunch, or a meal, probably lunch, you'd hear stories from my dad that goes like this.

"You know that day Sojourner was flying the kite? The kite lifted him up instead of him flying the kite."

"That day we were in kl, Sojourner nearly flew away while holding on to a bunch of helium balloons. We all tried to grab his legs but he flew up. Had to call the fire brigade to rescue him from Hilton's ceiling"

And he repeats the story for every single guest. That's because my brother's too skinny. Talk about exaggerating.

Amusing.

Another thing that amused me was when I was having a conversation with Sean about how I've never been to Bukit Indah and the Jusco there with cinema and bowling alley opens tomorrow and probably all the perling people won't be going to Cs.

And I questioned, "Bukit Indah far from Perling?"

This is what I got.

I concluded:

Final conclusion:

Amusing. I'm gonna get slaughtered by Kim.

Heh. Off to Plaza Pelangi for shopping. =)

I got my number back already.

And I got another addition to my wishlist.

New phone.

Using sis' Sony Ericsson isn't that bad after all but I do want a phone to call my own.

Move it.

Was in my uncle (who is a year older than me due to generation)'s house the other day. Played on his nintendo wii. There was softball, tennis, yoga, hula hoop. The one hour encounter with the fabulous machine made us all laughed as each of us shook our hips during the hula hoop game.

So another addition to my xmas wishlist.

The Nintendo Wii.

Hehe.

Back to my abode.

Finally back after almost a week. Shopping marathon for three days and attended my sis' convocation and graduation dinner. Went to One U, The Gardens, Sunway Piramid, Pavillion and Bangsar Village. X)

I think we walked into every Roxy store we saw and about 10 times. I have no idea why.

Dad and mom came up on Saturday and sis book them into Hilton, KL. =) Pretty atas place of course. Graduation dinner in Chynna, Hilton.

Stayed up till 2am every night and pampering my sis' precious Sophie Oreo, the schnauzer. I was their maid for the whole week. Mopping the floor, scooping the dog's shit, washing dishes and making beds. Got a salary of RM 50. X)

Their service apartment was right opposite the landslide of the carpark. Not the bungalow one. The earlier one. The 'One in a million' audition was held in the hotel which is under the same management as the apartment.

Watched 'Bolt' in 3D mode. The movie was supposed to be funny but I ended up crying. =X

Didn't take a shitload of pictures during my stay as I was feeling depressed due to my lost phone. =( Still thinking about it every night, reminiscing the scene where I could feel my empty Thirsty Al.

Had lunch here

Sophie Oreo

Took this in the car

witch?

Fern was actually trying out her robe when my eldest sis asked me to put the witch hat on her head. With a broomstick, it should really fit.

The tv in the hotel room

When I saw the list of movies on the screen, I thought I could just stay there watching movies all day. But to my dismay, the movies were not free. You had to buy it for RM 40++. =.=

With Lim Kok Wing

Chynna

Balloons for the graduated girl

Oh yeah, there was this school who had their prom in hilton's ballroom. Probably some private school. Rich ass kids.

More pictures at facebook. Back to having curfew at 11pm. =(

Worst christmas ever

First i lost my camera in desaru last year

Then i dropped my phone into the toilet bowl last december.
Got it fixed and was functioning normally.

And now some bitch stole my phone while I was shopping in Forever 21, One U.
I heard the velcro sound of my crumpler pouch and i turn around and touched it, it was gone.

GONE.

Then I looked at the woman, some mixed blood of Arabian and angmoh.
I tugged at her clothes and she pulled away and showed me her N95 and her content of her handbag. When I didn't even say anything to her at all.

Bitch. She started scolding me in some foreign language and I wanted to cry already.
She complained to her friend that i accused her i think and they disappeared afer that.

BITCH. May you burn in hell.

Or if it was not her, whoever stole my phone la. Curse you.

Sigh. I had a bad feeling already when I was on my way to KL yesterday.

Worst Christmas ever.

Please do not contact me till i get back to jb to get my number back.

Anyone wanna get me a new phone?

Desaru

Trip down to Desaru certainly made me feel more relaxed and lifted everything off my mind. More of a food eating trip. Seafood to be exact.

We stayed in Pulai Beach Resort and stayed in a suite. More likely a room with a two level. Not much better than the normal room. Just a little more spacious.

creaking stairs

sea view =)

sorry sean, couldn't bring it back for you.

Off to Kl tomorrow morning. Shopping marathon all the way till Sunday. X)

Pet talk and sandy beaches.

One thing that annoys me.

Racing in pet society's stadium, clicking on my pet to make it jump over the hurdles when my comp lags resulting in it falling down and other contestants to run faster and be ahead of my pet.

At that time, I'd be hoping one of them trips over a banana peel or falling down trying to jump over the hurdles.Nyehehe and my pet will catch up and emerge as champion and hence the 30pet points and addition to the level points.

At times I'd think its rather pointless to be spending time scrubbing that bodoh pet when it's dirty and how it laughs at me when I failed to catch the frisbee or ball or make it jump over the rope. Makes me want to kill it when I see the smirk on the face.

But then when you leave it and carry on with other stuff and you come back seeing it sleeping on the floor (like now) you couldn't bear to kill it, could you?

Back to my point.

Competing with your friends trying to outwin each other by comparing who has the highest level its actually rather pointless. But sometimes its just to while your time away.

Off to desaru tomorrow.

Back to Pet Society-ing.

Christmas!

Christmas is 22 days away. 22 days to presents and surprises, turkey, santa claus, reindeers, christmas trees and the day I look most forward to. Christmas shopping and the ambience! =)

And of course, my christmas wishlist! X)

1. New phone
2. Ipod touch
3. New moon by Stephanie Meyer
4. Roxy / Billabong wallet

Most of the items above are pricey but you might never know some rich ass would actually give it to me as a christmas present? Heh. I know, dream on.

Handmade cards and small items will do as well. =)

New life.

Tuition classes started again after a week's break. Back to stressing out to complete accounts, calling up another due to uncertainties and finally screaming out loud when it 'imbangs' in the wee mornings of 3am.

First you taste bitterness then its all worth it when you finally balance it.

The Slavonic Dance no. 8 by Dvorak made my fingers dance together with 3 other performers last night at my music school's annual concert. Never knew that coconuts and mangoes could be so catchy by 7 violinists accompanied by the piano.
And Waltz in F minor by F.Chopin by Lim Tzu Hung mesmerized me. Wonder was it the piece or the player.

It all ended with certificate and gift presentation followed by refreshments. And my name printed on the certificate was Chirismine Chua. =.=
Pictures up soon.

Congrats to cousin Mei mei sis for her newly born boy. Yet to know his name. Should be quite charming for half chinese. Another excuse for me to go over to Singapore then.

Off to Accounts tuition.
