Aunt's Birthday

All these years since I shifted to my new house,my family and I have been tumpang-ing at my aunt's place to shower, eat, sleep and so on before going for tuition.

And whenever she sees us she'll go, eh eat already or not? come i cook for you.

OR

Eh, my friend gave me this, you bring home and eat la. I cannot finish.


I find that she's too generous, never keeps anything for herself. Anyways I'd like to say a big thank you to her for being such a great aunt and also, happy birthday.

We got together for a small celebration at Grand Straits Garden. Dressed to the nines, we reached there at 11.30. Received all our souvenirs from Japan from my cousin. (Thanks!)

And the lunch started.

Taciturn?

Post inspired from Wen Li's post.

After spending about 3 hours together with Wen Li today, I realised that i'm quite an introvert myself. Half of the people we see, she goes up to them or rather shouting their names, saying hi, giving them a big wave and a smile. I stood by watching her and just grinned at the person if I knew them once.

Maybe because I'm shy or I spend half the time thinking about things I should do next. Or maybe I'd like to leave a good impression of myself towards other people. I don't know. Maybe just as Wen Li said, 'I hate making new friends'.

True.

Funny how someone as close to me that I spilled my secrets to once could end up not being in my circle of good friends anymore. It's not that we quarelled or had a big fight, maybe we just lost words to say to one another. It is so bad until the extend we walk past each other, not even saying a word as if we never knew each other.

But at times, I'd try to strike up as many conversations as possible with the people around me, probably being afraid of losing touch with them.


I really have no idea.

Jamie's 14th.

Celebrated jamie's birthday last Saturday at her humble abode. Fyi, she's joey's sister.

Food was good, and of course there were the rich and famous people there. Note: Every auntie I saw was carrying a LV bag and I swear its authentic.

I gaped at the houses there including joey's. I so want to live in a house there.
Especially the 104 house.

I woke up one day after my afternoon nap and saw my brother carrying a big tub of water, half naked wearing his swimming trunk. I trailed along and found him at my house balcony.......
























Instead of shouting at him I went and took my camera and snap.

Food recommendation

Wondering where to have breakfast instead of Mcdonalds or the dim sum shop outside your house?

I recommend this hawker center located at Melodies Garden in an alley between the shops. They have the best kway teow kia according to my Kl relatives who never fail to have breakfast there whenever they come down to Jb.

Kway teow kia = kway teow served with spare parts of the pig.

Besides kway teow kia they have bak kut teh, sarawak mee, and the nicest carrot cake i've ever tasted.

Don't know what inspired me to do this post. Probably cos of nuffnang who reduced me from a glitterati member to an ordinary one due to lack of updates. =(

Cheer 2008

I think most of us got the wrong time for the event. I think it was supposed to start at 12. But it ended at 12. Woke up today at 9.30 and realised the event was at 10 i think. Rushed all the way to the stadium. Luckily did not missed the performance of Venom and Queens.

And yes, Venom was the overall champions. 2nd was from SIGS and 3rd was some purple team.


Oh, Queens got the best dressed team.
