Exam antics.

Sitting in a circle a day before Moral paper, we decided to let loose a little and crapped for an hour or so. Ahh yes it was the day the American Idol results were out. Pn Cheng gave us a minute's opinion of hers of why Kris Allen won and Adam Lambert didn't. She was beaming when she got the news from us, courtesy of Wen Li and her dad.

I was reading Sejarah when a couple of ants were invading my table so I pushed them onto the floor without killing them. I killed one lah, and minutes later I saw another one carrying it. Felt touched I decided to...

Heh. No life, I know.

The exam face, with hairbands pushing up every single strand of hair, 98726483 clips on the head, caffeine, bedtimes at 4am, and yes to memorize the locomotion of the frog I started jumping like one at 3am.. good old exam days.

Congrats to Sean's team on winning Nationals.

Driving classes on Tuesday. Pray I don't get a cikopek.

Deprived of Sleep

Stayed up till the wee hours of the night to study, last minute revision as usual. The massive one was yesterday whereby I stayed up till 4am this morning and slept for an hour plus before heading to school.

Disappointed with my PA results though I tried so hard this time. Have to buck up and start studying during holidays too. Driving lessons next week, badminton with the other 6 or 7 girls hopefully, Singapore trip hopefully.

Oh yeah, guessed who passed her piano exam by 118 marks? Hehehe. Thank you people for the support and encouragement.

Can hardly open my eyes now. Happy 16th Joanne!

Got a hook on Restaurant City.
Decided to dig out some shortcuts from people I never bothered once replying.

Hordes of people at Tebrau City Jusco now probably with the absence of Dai Yang Tian and Joshua Ang. Told my mom about it and she said 'So What?'. Answers my question well enough, sent me up to my room going back to accounts and late night tak imbang penyata penyesuaian bank till 1.30 am.

Adeline's 17th

Adeline, the girl who never fails to cheer us up every morning with her radiant metallic smile and loud greetings, the girl who chases Florence all the way from the hall to the third floor leaving Florence panting and in stitches, the girl who once burped in Moral class leaving everyone in stitches, the girl who is ever so sporting finally turns 17.

16 or 17, she'd probably stay the same way forever.

Started off by lighting up the fire for the bbq pit courtesy of the two guys above while Kim, Wenli and I amused the dog by playing fetching ball equipped with a coating of saliva.

Jenny the director of the show together with the rest of the girls decided not to turn for the party with reasons:

"Sorry I got tuition"

"Eh my mum don't let"

"Got church tonight"

"No transport lehhhh"

"Eh tuition la"

All of us knew what was going on except Adeline. 2 minutes upon arrival, Florence dragged Adeline and had a hard time keeping her from escaping the room. Both came out hot and sweaty. Oops. Sounds wrong.

And then the arrival.

Leaving Adeline screaming and startled. Good one, Jenny.

Followed by makan and pranks.

Lien arrived and someone didn't fail to strike up a conversation with her. Ahaha we all know who. And I don't mean Florence.

Wendy decided to spend half an hour or so cooking sausages for the rest of us.

Florence happened to wear the same shirt. The rest of them wanted to wear the same shirt but tak jadi.

Left before the two guys came on a bike. Somehow the image of Jay Chou and Xiao Yu pops into my mind. Eww.

happy 17th adeline

Endau Rompin Trip

*UPDATED: Check out my sis' blog for better pictures (DSLR mahhhhh) and more humouring stories I forgot to mention like how the tap water went out when my sis on the shower.

Decided to go for a trip during the 3 days break. Didn't book any hotel except for the second day as we expected there were going to be hotels.

But we were wrong. It so happened that everyone decided to go on a break on the 1st of May. Almost the whole Singapore was in Malaysia. Singapore cars everywhere, conquering all the hotels.

Pushed off at 7+, roamed around, went to beaches and by 6.30pm we couldn't find a place to stay overnight. From Mersing to Endau to Pekan and finally Kuantan.
Had no choice but to stay in the hotels in the shop houses. There were 3 at that particular spot.

2 of them looked classier and decent. Dad and uncle went in both of it but to no avail. Even Singaporeans with Porsche, BMW and Mercs had to stay in those kind of hotel, and so my dad went to the one behind.

Embassy Hotel. I prayed that there were no rooms available as the facade of the hotel looked really old and worn out. To my dismay, there was. 3 rooms booked. RM 50 each. Had a lump in my throat when I heard about it. Went for dinner and roamed around the shopping centre before making it back to the hotel.

Carried my luggage across the road, making into the entrance of the hotel. Dark passage, with an old typical Chinese mirror before the reception. Held my breath as I made it into the room. Nearly fainted as the room greeted me.

The pathetic air con that didn't work

What disgusted me the most was the bathroom. As I was about to peer into the bathroom, what greeted me was a damn COCKROACH! It obviously ran away and I had to bathe in a condition where the cockroach could fly at me anytime. Then I saw it escaping the bathroom. I took the slipper and smacked it thrice till it was dead flat. Normally I wouldn't even have the guts to do so but to have a better night despite the room conditions, I had to do so. The feeling of triumph was overwhelming.

Notice that piece of rafia string? Its to hang our clothes and towels.

The water heater notes how old the hotel is.

The rusty bathtub where we wore our slippers and stood in it as we bathed. I was complaining how we once stayed in Hilton and now we had to resort to staying in this. My elder sister then said, 'Nah, to comfort you, I brought shampoo and bath gel from Hilton'. =.=

We bought Saidina to play, thinking we'd stay awake overnight but we were too exhausted. We covered the bed with our comforter from home and three of us squeezed in a bed, awakened up constantly in the middle of the night by the sound of the cars wheezing by.

Checked out immediately at 7 a.m in the morning.

Experience of a life time.

Rest of the trip and Adeline's 17th coming up.
