Its 3 days away. Feeling nervous as ever.
More nervous than sitting for PMR.



While practising in my music school today, the thought of me sitting in the room with the examiner turned my fingers chilly.







100 marks enough. Pass me, please.

First things first..








I passed my undang! :D






Got to the Rilek centre, saw the triplets and Su Hui there. Waited for at least an hour or so, then it was my turn to enter the computer room. I got Computer 1, hands were trembling as I held the mouse. Did the test in 15 minutes or so but checked back, feeling skeptical about my answers.

Then I hovered my mouse to the keputusan. Took a deep breath and the results came out. I saw the Lulus word and :D. Then I saw 42/50. Damn, I passed by the skin of my teeth? Then, I had a good stare till I saw '46'.

Not bad lah. Made my way out and got into the car. Parents got tricked by me, telling them I failed. My mother started lecturing me before I told her the truth.

While practising the piano, my dad said, 'How come there's a cheque for you?
Went and retrieved it....



The long awaited cheque. Screamed for 5 seconds.




Wahahaha. RM 50 may seem small to some people but at least its money! Moolah!
Especially when I really need money now. Still owe my brother RM 100. :X

Photo session was on Tuesday and Wednesday. Including Thursday as well as it had to rain and I already changed into my full uniform on Wednesday waiting to take picture already wtf.

Farewell

Lo and behold I'm back. Nyehehehe. Dad didn't say I couldn't use the computer so here I am. He banned me from outings but I managed to sneak to a party and made it back before he did. :D

It was a farewell bbq party for the ex Form 5's who were leaving to pursue their studies to Singapore, Kl, Sunway Jb? Had a massive time there with people attacking the squids before they were cooked, Wendy fanning the bbq thing resulting in us having white ash all over our clothes, the girls crying after the choir led by Jenny. And Jenny too ended up crying.

Then the water balloon war went on as I hid in the house watching tv. Wasn't let off at last. Eunice hugged me with her wet clothes still on. As I made my way out to go home, the pipe somehow landed in my direction and I was wet too.

CCA and parents.

The blue file was shown yesterday. Oh the colourful marks I stared at, for a good 10 minutes while flipping through the past ones. Got all jittery, panicking. I mustered up all my courage and handed it to THE man.


He at first thought was some permission slip for me to go for a field trip or something till he saw the marks. He was shocked. He expected me to improve by leaps and bounds but it was the other way round.


Then the questioning and I could see his fury rising every second. Then the file went flying without bothering to put his signature on it. I picked it up and hurried up to my room before any worse things to happen. Then in the midst of doing my Math, he called out to me.



He wanted me to quit from the Board of Directors. He thinks I'm the Secretary of the Red Cross Society padahal I'm only one kecil active member. I'd stood motionlessly listening to him saying that all CCA was useless, how was I going to save people if I can't even save myself in the exams. I think he forgotten Interact for that good moment. God bless.


And so while having breakfast this morning, the nagging started. Couldn't stand it anymore and dashed off leaving half of my dumpling behind and he continued in the car while I pretended to sleep.


Was today a bad day for 17 year old kids or what. Yee Chen started off the morning with the ikrar which was missing from the podium and she panicked resulting in her most embarassing moment which she ended up whining in class.


Expecting more tomorrow and the days to come where I can no longer have my 20 minute nap along the way to school till the next slip comes with brilliant results. And oh yeah no more CCA for me. Banned from the computer, tv, outings, whatsoever.


Gosh. Better head back to my books now. Sis offered me a full expense trip to Bangkok for a shopping spree if I achieved straight A's for SPM. Bangkok, shopping spree appears in my mind everytime I reach for the computer plug or the tv remote control.

The finale.

To the embassy we went for the flag, articles and knowledge. It was still far back at that time. In a bat of an eyelid, preparations started. Paintings, paper mache and more paper mache till I nearly puked, the parents with : " Why you stayback everyday ar?! No need to study is it? You better buck up ah! Fail then only you know!" , " Why she stay until 4 o'clock only you must stay until 5 o'clock? I tell you ar, no more staying back after this", *continues to nag some more*, holiday duties with our little picnic of maggie noodles, bread, tuna, chipsmore, chips, chrysanthemum drink, ikan bilis bread. And the cat who tried to steal our food.





Then the performances. A few hours later after the event ended I only realised it was our last event for the Form 5's and I should have performed something. Regret.

A day before the event, I started to panick and worry whether everything could be finished in time or not. Luckily it did. And all of us really appreciated the sandwiches and banana cake courtesy of Mrs Ignatius, our teacher advisor. :D


The day itself. Felt the pressure by 12 o'clock. Emotional during the prayers by Mrs Ignatius and Wenli's small talk.


Then the guests started pouring in. Ran around with my skirt on, constantly flying up due to the wind. Had to change and lend Adeline the skirt for her dance. It was then nobody was there to help with the projector. Thousand apologies, Wenli.
Ran from one end to another throughout the event and recording the performances. Anyone who wants the videos?

It all ended too fast. Like the wind, it blew everything through. Leaving memories behind till I couldn't fall asleep, thinking of what happened. Through all the conflicts and laughter, it all was a success. It was the I.U that had so many people that filled the hall right to the back. Especially when one of the schools arrived in a bus. The whole registration counter was filled up. It was the best I.U I ever had probably because it was us who hosted and went through every detail of it. The hall was so beautifully decorated the morning of the event as I stepped into the hall. Especially the entrance.

Thank you interactors for making it a success. Thank you to the people who came. The rotarians, teachers and headmistress. Our h.m even complimented us for making it such a beatuiful sight.


Thank you board of directors for putting up with me and working together to make it all happen. :D
